former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has said he felt "justified" after a court hearing in which elevated his lawyer said one of the most famous footballers in the UK had agreed that no basis on which he is accused of blackmail.
The model was accused of singing the Premier League and national stars, who had an affair with an earlier hearing where the judge, Mr Justice Eady, explained why he had spent a gag order preventing the married name of the footballer.
The order preventing the identification of the player remains in place, although the star was made by thousands of people on Twitter and Liberal Democrat John Hemming in Parliament.
Eady suggested Thursday's hearing: "There is no reason to remain anonymous."
But there was no movement by lawyers for Thomas to try to lift the gag.
