Everyone at school has a duty to respect the rules of behavior management, especially senior management teams
"Wait! Stop talking! Wait! Shut up! "The voice in my head is screaming.
Imagine the scene in our school hall:. 300 students sat in groups of tutoring course alongside their friends, and there is a buzz of murmurs and whispers in the room
my rant silently in my head - "Wait! Hush" - And I know that the only person in liquidation me, it is because this rant is not directed to students . It is assumed that a member of our management team and pastoral director, was at the front, they talk about students. They are not heard by the vast majority of students, but still.
Try returning students was a farce, and finally the group throughout the year (and support teachers) are punished and remained in place after the end of the hood. I served my sentence in silence, but if I had been able to produce steam that would have been out of my ears.
Managing student behavior is part of our work, and punish students who were in my opinion very unfair. The administrator has no pastoral experience teaching (now that's another rant), has not given any public speech or behavior management training (oh, and another) so I can forgive him a little, but I can not believe that SLT ads just went ahead despite the fact that students were still talking.
We, and I mean everyone who calls himself a master, and includes SLT enough obstacles to overcome, and we must remember to put first things first: the management of behavior has to be at the top of our list.
