Ten million hamburgers are made in supermarkets throughout Ireland and the UK since it was known that certain lines sold by Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Iceland contained traces of horse meat.
"Our technical team visited the site last week Dalepak and we were pleased that our products have been manufactured to our high specifications and separated from those of other undertakings (ours occur to 6 hours before further hamburgers, etc.). " ABP Food Group, one of the largest European suppliers and processors, has ceased to work in the factory Silvercrest Foods in County Monaghan, Ireland, after tests last week revealed a contamination of frozen hamburgers.
